ZOMG korean tacos

ok ok, so i have been a lazy blogger. and i know you are just dying to know where i have been. well, i’ve been on an amtrak on my way to western ny, where i enjoyed stories from strikers, amazing bbq and the biggest goodwill ever. oh yeah, there were also ponds and clean air and shit like that. getting out of the city is boss sometimes.

so now i’m back! and i was happy to discover that my friend kimbo’s and my worlds were colliding via the NYT:

The Tortilla Takes a Road Trip to Korea

TOMAS LEE has long dreamed of selling American consumers on Korean barbecue.

Mr. Lee, a 42-year-old native of Seoul, South Korea, who grew up in Mustang, Okla., took a step toward realizing that dream in October 2009 when he opened Hankook Taqueria in Atlanta, serving tacos stuffed with soy- and garlic-marinated beef, along with chicken and pork, all barbecued in the Korean style.

for those of you who have not experienced korean bbq, you are wasting your life. it is the most delish of all bbqs. and to combine this with tacos–it’s like the beginning of a beautiful romance.

go get some. or actually, go get me some. don’t let me down, NYC. let’s see some korean taco trucks.
